Chic Holiday Home Decor
Holiday decorating is my love language this time of year, and this season, the Chic Loft is feeling extra magical. Think layered greenery, nostalgic plaids, warm metals, and just a touch of old-world charm. Whether you’re here for inspiration, adding pieces to your wishlist, or wanting to recreate the entire look at home, this post breaks down every detail – room by room.
Your holiday home is meant to feel collected, cozy, and personal… and hopefully a little chic while it’s at it. Let’s get into it!
The Chic Loft Entryway

The entryway sets the tone for the entire home, so I wanted it to feel warm and welcoming from the second you walk in. This year’s look is a blend of modern loft bones with traditional holiday textiles – exactly the combination that makes me happiest. Altogether, it’s cozy, elevated, and festive – and easily one of mine (and Levi’s!) favorite corners of the loft.

A classic green runner with subtle holiday detailing grounds the space and instantly creates that warm, seasonal feel. Above it, framed black-and-white prints add a timeless, personal touch, all highlighted by a trio of brass picture lights that give the artwork a gallery-style glow.

To tie the look together, I added seasonal plaid prints that feel nostalgic and warm, paired with the perfect holiday scent from Pura that sets the mood before you even see the tree.
The Living Room + Tree

This space is where the holiday magic really comes alive. The tree, the garland, the glow from the fireplace – it all works together to create that cozy Christmas ambiance that makes you want to curl up with a blanket and a Hallmark movie.

Our tree is always the heart of the Chic Loft during the holidays – full, layered, and a mix of textures that make it feel both festive and timeless. I used a blend of classic reds, warm neutrals, glass ornaments, ribbon, and a few organic elements to give it that collected, cozy look.

We collect ornaments from our travels and just fun styles like the Tecovas boots were a new addition this year, but my favorite ornament of all is the simplest one – a small frame holding baby chic’s ultrasound. It’s the one that stops me in my tracks every time I walk by. Among all the sparkle and ornaments, it’s the piece that means the most and makes this season feel extra special. This would make a great gift for someone also as you can swap the photo inside to anything you like.

Our mantle is one of my favorite places to get creative with decor each season. Can we get a round of applause for the dog stocking holders? One of my most favorite new decor items purchased this year.

Frame TV art is one of the easiest ways to dress up your home for the holidays! I found some gorgeous options that are under $5.

Tall winter branches in a ceramic vase for the coffee table, faux eucalyptus draped over the mirror and the mantle, and small arrangements on side tables bring in texture and warmth while tying the entire home together with subtle seasonal color.

The season of cozy isn’t complete without throw pillows, layered blankets and candles.
The Kitchen/Dining

In the kitchen, I like to keep things simple but seasonal – a holiday-themed charcuterie board book on display, a set of plaid or evergreen dish towels draped over the oven handle, and a pretty marble board ready for impromptu holiday hosting. A vase of fresh florals and winter greenery adds life to the counters without clutter, and little Christmas tree decor touches are placed throughout.

Across the dining and bar area, I layered wreaths for a pop of winter greenery to soften the space and create that cozy, lived-in holiday feel without the maintenance of real stems. I love the adddiotn of small knick knacks and layered books to keep that curated feel.
